Following the several months’ work, the Museum of African Art (MAA) is proud to present the web site dedicated to the digitalised material originating from its photographic, audio and video archives.
The contents of the site will thus become available to a wider audience, aiming, through the discovery process of the museum’s vast cultural heritage, to enable the easier access to this type of material.
The digitalisation project Dig(i)MAA was achieved with the financial support of Republic of Serbia’s Ministry of Culture and Information. The idea behind the project is for it to become the first step of the museum’s further opening to its public as well as acquiring new fans and connoisseurs of various topics linked to the phenomena from the area of African, Serbian and Yugoslavian cultural heritage and their mutual relations and connections.
